It's September 1st, almost 90°F, and the decorations are already up. I've gorged half the bag of candy I bought for trick-or-treaters—the bag will not last the month. My home is adorned with human skulls and monster movie posters all year long, so adding a few plush crows, a black "halloween" tree, and paper bats do not look out of place. Perhaps, they too will stay.
Dark, a little demented, and a campy look is my spooky aesthetic.
